 About Me

Hey I'm Karma! I'm a London-based, North-West-raised photographer, journalist, and artist, among other things...

Obsessed with reformation, I revel in recycling narratives and characters to initiate contemporary interpretations of culture. I like to unearth this universal language of traditional stories and archetypes as a basis for reinvention – establishing familiarity in the new wave of fashion communication, as MY WORK IS FOR THE PEOPLE.

Aiming to inspire influxes of subculture, and rich meaning within the digital age of fashion, I rebuke the lifeless, technological wash that masks human experience, history, and authenticity. Fashion is a living organism, that I want to keep alive – the death of subcultures is upon us if not otherwise carried into the future.

My work takes old romanticism and reimagines it in unfabricated ways – sharing these overlooked perspectives in fashion – from the working class, the underdogs, and those who have no voice in this age of fashion, populated by those on the advantageous side of society’s scale. I am one of those voices, and I’m speaking now – through journalism, photography, videography, styling, and poetry.
